J.P. Morgan Considers Adding Bitcoin Futures

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co is considering allowing their clients access to the upcoming bitcoin futures offered by CME, according to a Wall Street Journal Report.

This news comes as a surprise since J.P. Morgan’s CEO, Jamie Dimon, has been extremely unsupportive of bitcoin, calling it a 'fraud' and calling anyone who invests in bitcoin 'stupid'. Dimon also stated he would fire any J.P. Morgan trader that trades bitcoin. This drew the ire of many successful investors and cryptocurrency figures.

We will see how this plays out, but Jamie Dimon will have to be firing many of his employees if J.P. Morgan allows their clients access to CME’s upcoming bitcoin futures product.
